Vic: Two-year-old girl still suspected SARS case
A Victorian man suspected of carrying the lethal SARS virus has been cleared, leavinga two-year-old girl as the only potential victim in the state.
The girl, who arrived in Australia from Vietnam last week, was taken to an isolationunit at Monash Medical Centre on Saturday.
A Monash spokesman says she's is in a stable condition.
And a woman suspected of having SARS is undergoing tests in a Perth hospital aftera visit to Hong Kong.
Australia has had only one confirmed case of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome -- aBritish man diagnosed after he'd recovered in New South Wales last month.
Internationally, the pneumonia-like virus has claimed 101 lives since being detectedin January, and infected almost 2,800.
