NSW: Two face court on firearms offences
Two Sydney men will face court today after allegedly being caught with guns outside
a south-western Sydney police station.
A 20-year-old Punchbowl man and a 22-year-old West Hoxton man were found with the guns
after police searched their car parked illegally outside Bankstown Police Station.
A police spokesman says the search revealed a semi-automatic pistol magazine and a
Smith and Wesson revolver.
The two have been charged with firearms offences including possessing unregistered
firearm, possessing unauthorised firearms and possessing a loaded firearm in a public
place.
They two men were refused bail and will appear in Parramatta Bail Court later today.
