Merix Corporation Announces Election of Donald D. Jobe to Board of Directors.

Merix Corporation (Nasdaq:MERX) today announced the election of Donald D. Jobe to the Board of Directors.

Until his recent retirement, Mr. Jobe was the President and CEO of Isola Laminate Systems Corp.

Jobe is a 30 year veteran of the Laminate Systems business. During his career with Isola Laminate Systems, formerly AlliedSignal, he held several senior management positions in the U.S., Asia and Europe. Previous positions include Vice President and General Manager Asia Pacific of AlliedSignal's Electronic Materials division based in Hong Kong; Vice President and General Manager Laminate Systems Asia Pacific; and Managing Director European Operations. Mr. Jobe was a key figure in transforming Isola Laminate Systems into a global manufacturer with over $1 billion in sales. He was also a board member of Isola AG.

Jobe has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Winona State University. In addition, he holds an AA degree in accounting and an AD degree in Electronic Technology from Western Wisconsin Technical Institute.
